The AToMiC Awards celebrate the partnerships, programs and new developments that together build the Canadian media industry.

With brands striving to be more closely integrated with content, and technology also changing the way new entertainment properties reach audiences, the strategy marketing industry and Playback production communities have more in common - and both benefit from the best new ideas across Canada’s mediascape.

AToMiC is an awards program that brings all the partners together and puts a spotlight on the projects that really challenge the media status quo. Spanning advertising, technology, media creativity and content categories, AToMiC winners represent the best achievements across Canada’s media industry, the collaborations that show the way forward.

AToMiC Awards will recognize the work of a media agency, digital agency or AOR, as long as it is AtoMiC in nature, meaning it blows up conventional thinking in some potent cocktail of advertising, media, technology and creativity. We’re also looking for media company and producer-side development that takes content platforms and models to a new level, whether it’s a MMOG, next-gen website, or a property that launches with an effective array of touchpoints.

We’ll be celebrating the milestones across Canada’s media industry at the inaugural AToMiC Awards show this Fall, and the winners - whose big ideas are propelling the industry forward - will be showcased in the October issue of strategy magazine, as well as on strategy, Media In Canada and Playback online.
